| Every race car I build has a wink mirror and both side view mirrors and decently sized ones at that. In a race you need to have good situational awareness, especialy when in a multi car battle for position. The easier it is to size up whats going on tacticaly, the less stressful it is. Racing is much like combat in that way. Also if you are a glasses wearer like me, you are at a disadvantage in perifireal vision. In a race you don't want to take a long time looking around moving your head side to side, you just sort of are always looking in all the mirrors out of the corners of your eyes. So I like to have a lot of mirror area.
